JP Morgan said iPhone 12 mini Production may Discontinue due to low demand

Apple may discontinue producing iPhone 12 Mini due to low demand in market says JP Morgan. The Mini version of the phone was came with the launch of iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max . Apple thought to launch a small version of the phone for the customer who expect to have small but powerful cell phone.

According to the reports, the production volume for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini has lowered by 9 Million and 11 Million units said Yang. Also, have decided to stop it’s production by the second quarter of this year. Stopping the production doesn’t mean that the mobile phone will be unavailable in the market.

This was also noted by the Apple Analyst Ming-Chi kuo that iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini did not meet the expectation made by the company. These two cell phones were sold only for 6% of the total sale of iPhones in October and November.

There are other expectations that Apple may launch new iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE 2021 in the first half of 2022. This is again going to be a low cost model with some changes and modifications.

There are many other companies launching new technology cell phones however Apple has a unique stand. Discontinuing one or two iPhones are not going to impact much but it may affect the market a bit.
